Blood Bowl 7s is coming to the ABBF!
This summer, during the off season, the ABBF will be running our first ever 7’s League and Tournament and we could not be more excited!
Blood Bowl 7’s is a shorter variant of Nuffle’s Great Game, with teams of 7 a side playing 6 turns halves on a smaller Blood Bowl pitch. It makes for fast and dynamic games that play in under an hour and are an excellent way to introduce new players.
The League will be run over 4 league nights in a casual, non-scheduled, format. Shorter games mean we can play two games per session. The first 3 league nights will encompass the regular season and we will play finals on the 4th league night.
This gives us 6 season games and 2 finals games for 8 games in total.
These will be played between December and mid January on 4 Thursdays. The exact schedule, and further details to be confirmed.
Following the 7’s League, the ABBF will be hosting the first annual Auckland Summer Sevens Tournament, as part of the New Zealand 7s Blood Bowl Circuit.
This will be a one day, 4 game event, held at Hobbymaster on Saturday 27th Jan. Save the date!
